Summer corn sunset

The photo this is based on was originally taken by a photographer friend of mine, Sebastian Ventrone. He has some incredibly beautiful photos, so I really wanted to try painting some of them. There may be more to come

To help me feel better after my accident, one of my friends gave me an incredible present of 32 acrylic paints and a dozen canvases and five canvas boards. I was blown away... I've never been in possession of so many paint colors. o_o" I decided to try test a few of them out this time

Note: This scan came out a lot more high-contrast than in real life.
